Start: Upon agreement

Scope: Full time, until further notice

At Barium, we’re on a mission to transform the future of businesses by making their operations and processes digital, efficient, and automated.

Barium provides a workflow tool where thoughtful, intuitive, and purposeful design is key to success. We are now on the verge of making our offering even more intelligent and automated and we need you to help us with doing the right things in the right way!

We are looking for a creative and seasoned UX Designer with experience working with digital systems and products, creating solutions that bring value to the table for both users and the business. With this said, we think you work with KPIs and UX Metrics; identifying key user objectives, designing for them, and validating that these goals are met post-production.

Our team is small, and you would jump between user research, facilitating cross-functional workshops, designing digital product solutions, and user testing. You are comfortable interacting and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, and working with our users is a given for you! Participating in every phase from discovery to product concept development to implementation is something you like and you have the ability to switch from high-level systems thinking to granular details in the interaction.

Joining our company at this point is exciting! Not only will you be part of defining the overall vision and setting UX on the map of product development, but you will also establish work processes together with the UX Manager and Product Managers to ensure UX is a key factor in product and growth decisions.

About the role:

  • Contribute to the overall product and design direction of the whole company
  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues in the product team, engineers, market, customer success, and other stakeholders
  • You will be part of the UX Team in the Product Organization, reporting to UX Manager
  • Continuous delivery of UX artifacts to inform internally about UX work and insights rather than final design deliveries.
  • Being a part of InRule Technology, you will be working with our colleagues in the US (Chicago area) as well as development teams in Sweden, Argentina, and Costa Rica.

About you:

  • You initiate and facilitate workshops both to drive product development, but also to spread design thinking
  • Rather than high-fidelity design, you map outflows, journeys, low-fi mockups, and prototypes
  • You are good at continuous feedback and testing ideas, you live by the device “Fail fast to succeed faster”
  • You take natural ownership and you’re a self-organized person, comfortable with teamwork and alignment as well as stating clarity and direction.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (You do not have to be native in the language though)
  • Experience with design systems and basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript (you're NOT going to code, but you need to grasp the concept)
  • You like to have fun, laugh, and have a good time mixed with a high level of professionalism :)
  • You’ve worked with SaaS-solutions and understand the challenges involved
  • You’re used to working remote, with remote stakeholders and development teams

  • You have experience and interest with AI, Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation
  • You know BPMN 2.0
  • You’ve worked with rule-setting and conditional form editors

The office is located in Gothenburg Sweden, but we currently work remotely. We have a flexible solution with location (home/office) once restrictions are gone.

We offer a competitive package of salary, pension, training, healthcare, etc.
