Midroc Europe, with 3000 employees, has chosen to work with a process handling system from Barium. Initially, four companies within the group will be using Barium solutions for functions including management processes, document management and general operational support processes.

The companies of Rodoverken, Midroc Engineering, Metalock and Alucrom are now in the process of installing solutions supplied by Barium. A total approx. 200 personnel in these four companies will be using these process solutions. The main usage area is to be management processing of routine organisation tasks, although document processing and project functions are other areas in which the company will find these solutions useful.

"We made an analysis of the market and liked the look of Barium", says Lars Bergman, head of IT related operations development at Midroc Europe. "The system is easy to install and use, allowing us to start up quickly. Initially the system will be used within our companies in Sweden, with plans to expand in to other countries if results meet our expectations."

All four companies installing Barium solutions are part of the Midroc Europe group, a operating mainly in Sweden and northern Europe.

"The introduction of our process handling system will enable the Midroc group companies to work far more efficiently. Many staff in these companies are widely spread geographically and a central system for coordination of processes and documents will make day-to-day work much easier," says Michael Johansson, Barium managing director.
